Peter Saville

Peter Saville is an English art director and graphic designer, born October 9 1955 (age 60) Manchester, Lancanshire, England. Most known for the many record sleeves and CD covers he designed for Factory Records.

Early Career

Peter Saville attended St Ambrose College, and studied graphic design at Manchester Polytechnic years 1975-78
He entered the scene after meeting a man by the name of Tony Wilson, a television presenter and journalist. Saville later became a partner in Factory Records along with Tony Wilson, Rob Gretton, Alan Erasmus, and Martin Hannett
