Art deco

Art deco

Art deco is a Decorative art style of visual arts, architecture and design that first appeared in France just before World War I. It became popular in the 1920s and 1930s. It was founded to put a slight decorative twist on a very Modernist world, mainly through using expensive materials, bolder colours, and finer craftsmanship on Modernist designs, keeping it simple, yet luxurious, and decorative. Which at the time didn't seem like it made much of a difference. It Appears to have influenced many things however, including Buildings, cars, furniture, and many other things you just see about these days.
